Pompopla is my artistic universe – created from a deep love for childhood imagination, play, and the quiet moments of presence.

I work with both original oil paintings and illustrations, always starting from a feeling or a mood. I experience the world through colors, light, and emotions – small impressions that take root and are allowed to grow into stories on the canvas. My works often emerge from within; a sensation in the body, or a glimpse of something that feels familiar, even if it can’t be fully explained in words.

I am particularly drawn to the way children experience the world – their open imagination, intuition, and the way play and reality flow together. It is that feeling I strive to preserve and translate into my work.

The name Pompopla came to me one evening while I was drawing, my daughter sleeping beside me. In that moment there was a special kind of calm – and a strong feeling of love and meaning. It became the beginning of a universe that today forms the core of my artistic practice.

I aim to create art that can be felt. Art that brings calm, presence, and a quiet kind of magic into everyday life. At the same time, I hope to inspire more creativity, play, and sensory experiences – for both children and adults.
